Bob is a 1 year old medium-sized boy currently fostered in Knighton. His breed mix is possibly Jack Russell x Collie. He is a gorgeous, lively boy, full of intelligence and personality. He loves to play - with other dogs, toys and humans too.
Bob is highly motivated by food and can be trained with normal dog food, let alone treats. He has the potential to be a very well behaved boy; now what he needs is someone who can put the time in with him. He would be fabulous at agility or canicross. Shy with strangers at first, he soon comes round and is OK with older, dog-savvy older children, and cats.
He walks nicely on-lead, recalls well, is house trained and would love a forever home either with a playful dog for company, or a human he can form a really close relationship with.
Bracken (also known as Blackie) is a 2 year old medium sized female currently fostered in Norfolk. She was rescued from a terrible public shelter in Romania. She is a tripod and missing a back leg after a road traffic accident. She recovered remarkably well and was raring to go straight after the op! Now she is fully recovered she is looking for a special forever home. Having 3 legs certainly doesn’t hold Bracken back. Shes a young dog and loves to run, jump and play! Bracken adores the people she knows and is very loving but can be wary of strangers initially. She is currently fostered with a mix of different dogs of age and size who she gets on well with and would do well with a friend of her own. She has been away in the caravan with her fosterers on a few occasions now and has enjoyed it. Bracken is house trained and walks well on a lead. She has lived with cats in the past and was gentle with them. Bracken just needs an adopter who will understand her needs and not put pressure on her at first. Once she trusts you, she will love and follow you no matter what.
Roe is a 17 month old neutered male who’s currently in Bolton. He’s been in the UK since a young pup so is very much used to life here. He was originally found abandoned as a small pup with the rest of his litter. He has been living with other dogs and would happily live with them but could also perhaps be adopted as an only dog too. He has been around children of various ages throughout his life but feel he would be best in a home with adults or teenagers rather than small children. He’s playful and can be very loving. He can initially be wary of strangers visiting the home but soon gets used to them. Day to day Roe would benefit from a quiet family home but has spent trips away in a caravan which he enjoyed and has started agility training. He would benefit from 121 positive training and is looking for an adopter who will provide this. Please enquire for more information.
Sebastian is a 1 year old labrador cross. He was rescued as a small pup from Odai public shelter. He has a very gentle nature and can be shy at first but once you've spent a little time with him he is so cuddly and loving.
He is quick to learn and picks up commands in no time. He's looking for a committed family who will have the time and patience to build up his confidence. He would do well in a home with an adult confident dog learn from.
Seb has recently arrived in the UK and is settling into his foster home.
Dexter is a 2 year old corgi cross fostered in South-West Shropshire. Currently fostered with a mixture of other dogs, he gets on well with all of them. He's a handsome, angelic-looking fluffy golden boy with a cheeky smile.
Dex enjoys cuddles, is house trained, great on the lead, recall etc: an all-round good boy - but isn’t so keen on strangers visiting the home so this is something that will have to be managed. Dexter would suit an adult home with other dogs, possibly as an only dog.
His adopter/s will need to have an understanding of his fear of incursions on his home. Rescue dog experience ideally.
Bobby is a 5 year old Pekingese cross. He came to us from another rescuer, with his friend Millie.
Bobby is a real character and you can’t help but smile with him around. He’s a little clown and loves to give you kisses. He’d suit a family with adults/older children.
Leia is a 1 year old small-medium female. We took Leia and her friend Sasha on from one of Claudias neighbours after the spay campaign in the village. They were destined to live their life on a chain fed bread and we couldn’t let that happen. Leia is still definitely pup like and could possibly be a little under a year. She’s playing well with the other dogs at our shelter and once she knows you she’s very sweet. She has settled well but is wary of strangers so does need an adopter with a little experience to help her settle in to a new home. She’d do great in a home with other dogs. We are looking for an adult/teenager only home for Leia and we can cat test her if needed.
