Moss is a spaniel mix of around 15 years old. Moss was found abandoned on the street. She screamed in fear when she was caught. It didn’t take long for Moss to start trusting the Eli team and seeing glimmers of her personality. Moss is a busy girl like most spaniels but once she’s asleep she’s snoring and that’s it she’s out for the count

It didn’t take long for Moss to start trusting the Eli team and seeing glimmers of her personality. Moss is a busy girl like most spaniels but once she’s asleep she’s snoring and that’s it she’s out for the count. Although she is around 15 years old she loves her daily walks. She is currently in foster in Norfolk with other dogs where she has slotted in no problem. She hated to be groomed and handled to much, everything was on her terms but she is so much better with that now thanks to her fosterer. As Moss is an oldie she will only be adopted out to someone who can meet all her needs. Due to her age insurance isn’t really an option so an adopter will need to be financially stable and not give up on her purely because she’s a senior. After everything Moss has been through in life she has a lot of life still in her. An adopter who’s interested in complementary therapies for dogs is a plus too.
Winnie is a small 3-4 year old female dog. Claudia found her roaming in her village. She is a playful, friendly girl and currently mixing well with the other dogs at the ELI sanctuary.
Marnie is a sweet pup of around 3 months old. She in fact got herself rescued by finding shelter in Claudia's garage along with her brother Bear. Sadly Bear passed from parvo but thankfully Marnie is strong and healthy and a delightful girl. We believe she will be medium - large and a slender build once an adult.
Pepper is approximately 2-3 years old and looks to be an Italian Spinone. She was rescued from some neighbours who kept her chained and didn't want her anymore. She was rather skinny when she came to us but is doing well now and enjoying more freedom at the sanctuary.
Dude, what can we say? He's a cool dude! He's around 2-3 years old and was from the same place as Pepper. He is a super friendly boy who loves a cuddle! Food hasn't always been available to him so he has been a bit food possessive around the other dogs. But honestly its to be expected with any of our dogs. Food is life, food is survival, food is good!
Benji is 6-7 months old. We were asked to take him because he wasn't a good guard dog!! A pup kept on a chain and not wanted as he didn't bark and was too friendly! He's a super boy, loves playing with Winnie, love a fuss but has been a little shy with visitors to the sanctuary.
You may have noticed we haven't had many dogs listed on the website lately but this does not mean we aren't busy rescuing dogs! With limited resources in the UK and added costs with Brexit we've had to slow down our adoptions to the UK. Many of our dogs have been adopted through charities we work with and trust in Germany and Holland. We have had a constant flow of puppies lately and many sick with parvo virus (check out our facebook page for updates).
Please contact us for more information on any of our dogs for adoption.
